Dr. Dumisani Magadlela

Dr. Dumisani is an international executive coach, coach trainer, leadership development facilitator, organizational culture and 'people whisperer'. He works, writes, and speaks on executive coaching, coaching approaches, people development, and ethics in coaching. Dumi completed the Gestalt International Organizational Systems Development Program (IOSD) and has been an active Gestalt practitioner since 2007. Dumi co-founded the Ubuntu Coaching Foundation (UCF) at The Coaching Centre (TCC) in South Africa where he has been Senior Faculty for over 15 years, delivering a module on “Coaching in the African Context” and “African Wisdom in Coaching”. The Ubuntu Coaching Foundation (UCF) is a non-profit coaching organization meant to promote access to transformational coaching for leaders and community members who would otherwise not be able to afford coaching services. Dumi has designed and delivered numerous leadership coaching, team coaching, and organisational culture interventions, for executive clients in multiple sectors across Africa and beyond. He currently serves as the Chairperson of the Global Board of the International Coaching Federation (ICF). More recently, Dumisani is part of an international faculty at the Global Team Coaching Institute (GTCI), where he co-designs and co-facilitates team coaching training at Foundational (Gateway), Practitioner and Senior Practitioner levels. This is part of a premium Team Coaching certification programme offered by leading global team coaching practitioners through Renewal Associates and Clutterbuck Coaching and Mentoring International (CCMI). Dumi is accredited by the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) as a Senior Practitioner in Team Coaching. He is an internationally credentialled coach by the International Coaching Federation (ICF) at Professional Certified Coach (PCC) level.
