Philomena Kafui Ama Ahey is a tutor of Curriculum Studies, and Religious Education at the College of Distance Education - University of Cape Coast, Ghana (CoDE - UCC), and also teaches emerging technologies such as coding at the community level. Mrs Ahey is passionate about emerging technologies, curriculum and moral education and works with her students to push this agenda. She has designed instructional courses on peer facilitation, online adult education, and curriculum and religious education. She is also passionate about community service and STEM education. She is the co-founder of Adenta STEM Club for Girls, which teaches coding and practical science skills, and religious and moral education to young girls and mentors teachers in same. Philomena Ahey works with various clients and stakeholders across different educational spectrum (complementary education, basic schools, churches, and universities) and contexts. Her work takes out-of-school children in communities and churches into mainstream schools, and collaborate with technical university to train roadside mechanics in emerging technologies and basic English and numeracy skills. She has designed an online adult education course for Complementary Education Agency, Ghana. She designed a STEM & Moral Education curriculum to implement a practical science project sponsored by U. S Education in collaboration with Ghana Robotics Academy Foundation. She has presented her work on emerging technologies and complementary education at international workshop. She is always eager to learn new things and explore new challenges in the field of education and emerging technologies.
